Job Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor on 2nd shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, and supervising a team of warehouse staff.
Duties:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse activities.
- Participate in production meeting to discuss issues that arise with material flow and personnel.
- Create production report and summary. This includes obtaining all necessary information needed to create report.
- Supervise warehouse team and ensure they are doing assigned tasks and are being completed in a timely manner, while following specific guidelines.
- Maintain and manage inventory levels.
- Order all supplies needed for day-to-day operation of the warehouse while trying to stay within a set budget.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement best practices for warehouse organization.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Control all parts documented with quality issues whether they are internal or external issues.
- Monitor shipments, audits and assist with packing to ensure highest quality and efficiency possible.
- Contact O.S. vendors to track parts as needed.
- Unload and load trucks as needed and operate and maintain Stand-Up Hi-Lo.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Experience with e-commerce or distribution center operations is a plus.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
