We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of the HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Experience in dealing with accounting and administrative decisions are additional expectation in this role.
Duties:
Human Resources:
- Manage employees on assignment.
- Book and record employee hours worked.
- Calculate and manage payroll and benefits for employees.
- Manage all aspects of contracted employees.
- Understand basic policy information and conduct employee training when necessary.
- Mange the recruitment and selection process.
- Manage candidate interview process and update management on a regular basis.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
Accounting:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Reconcile and manage past-due invoicing.
- Handle any disputes and claims that may arise.
- Identify incorrect billing and address.
- Handle any warranty issues for damages.
- Manage unpaid invoicing claim and any shipping-related billing.
- Speak with suppliers.
- Oversee company credit history.
- Manage purchased product returns.
Administrative:
- Manage suppliers & vendor bills and company credit.
- Update requisition form and other office & warehouse supplies.
- Request for quotes for new purchases and reports.
- Maintain contracts.
- Landlord and building care.
- Create payment requests for vendors’ bills.
- Update expense report.
- Submit MBE status monthly for customers.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Skills:
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Experience in account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
- Technical accounting skills with financial acumen.
- Experienced with QuickBooks for financial forecasting (preferred 3-5 years of experience).
